HOW TO PLAY

Move the opening.

Torima is a network puzzle where every move changes both a stone and the empty place it can move into next.

The core move

  1. Find an opening on the network.
  2. Choose a stone connected directly to that opening.
  3. The stone moves into the opening. Its old position becomes the new opening.
  4. Build matching stones along a valid network line to clear them.

The paths matter. Stones that look close do not form a pattern unless their nodes belong to one continuous valid line.

Keep the network alive

New stones enter as you play. Clears create room and chains multiply the value of the patterns you build. A run ends when the active rule can no longer produce a legal move or the board reaches its ending condition.

When the board grows

Some games open larger patterns as the run develops. A clear cue appears before a change. The network stays anchored in the play area while its topology expands, rotates, or introduces a new route.

The five games

Flow

Choose the target opening for each stone. Flow keeps movement continuous and is the most approachable place to study patterns and chains.

Classic

Use one moving opening. The stone you move determines where the opening goes, so every route must prepare the next one.

Sequence

Clear the displayed colors in order. The upcoming requirement remains visible while the board supplies a viable color set.

Wild

Use special stones without letting their power control the run. Prisms can join a matching color. Bombs count down and clear nearby stones. Anchors cannot move but can participate in a pattern.

Shift

The network rotates after a visible number of moves. Its direction and timing appear above the board. Later patterns can turn inner and outer rings in different directions.

Challenges

Daily Challenges

Every player receives the same puzzle for that date. Goals and difficulty vary across the month.

Weekly

A shared marathon and seven connected stages offer a longer test. Difficulty develops across the week.

Journey

Thirty curated levels introduce deeper decisions in a deliberate order.

Live Challenges

Time limited passages can add original boards, artwork, chapter progression, collection rewards, and competitive trophies.

Build a stronger score

Long lines help, but the best results also use chains, intersecting clears, efficient opening routes, space preservation, and complex patterns. Ranked shared challenges begin from identical conditions.
